Devastation and Regrowth:

The juxtaposition of infrastructure with the natural landscape is a dramatic feature of South Louisiana.  Volatile industrial thresholds inevitably impact adjacent ecologies, permanently altering the landscape form.  Our storyboard portrays the natural cycle of destruction and renewal, and proposes an exploration of this idea with illustrative, temporal and generative components.  The illustrative component will be a single, rendered image that tells the story from beginning to end.  The temporal component will address the evolution a localized element throughout time.  The generative model will define how the environment and surrounding topography is affected.
